What Strength Reading Glasses Do I Need?

What magnification reader glasses do I need?

First…..you will need our reading strength chart to help you determine what strength readers you need. Print out the PDF of our reading chart in the link below. Just be sure your PDF reader is set to 100% view.

Hold the chart about 12-14 inches from your face.

There will be different reading strengths listed on the chart. Remove your prescription eyeglasses and read the lines from top to bottom. The first line that you can read without straining your eyes will have a reading lens strength next to it. That is your suggested reading strength.

Please note that reading strength charts aren’t always accurate. Short of an eye doctor’s exam, however, it’s a good bet in getting your proper reading lens strength.

Remember to get your eyes checked from your eye-care professional regularly as eye conditions can often occur without symptoms.
